COLOR FILTER, ITS CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION AND LIQUID CRYSTAL ELEMENT USING THE COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a color filter for a liquid crystal element by continuously carrying without stopping the base material for the pattern exposure of a photosensitive resin in the production process of the filter. SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin layer is applied and formed on a long strip of film base material 1 by using a coating device 3 while the film base material 1 is traveled. In the process of pattern exposure of the photosensitive resin layer in an exposure device 5, the resin is exposed to light while an exposure mask is carried with the relative position for the film base material 1 controlled to be constant.
