PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reflection type color liquid crystal display device which does not require a back light, which consumes low electric power and which is bright and sharp with a high contrast ratio by efficiently reflecting the external light in large quantity of light from the upper part to the observation direction. SOLUTION: The reflection type color liquid crystal display device is composed of a display part 53 and a processing part 52 and is coupled by an angle setting means 35. The display part 53 consists of a liquid crystal display part 30 which is a liquid crystal display means consisting of a polarizing film 20, liquid crystal element 31, color filter 33 or the like, and of a blaze reflection plate 23 as a reflection means, matching agent 32, and fixing agent 34. The liquid crystal display means efficiently transmits the incident light 11 in a large quantity of light from the upper part in the direction other than the normal direction, and the reflection means reflects the light transmitted through the liquid crystal display means as the reflected light 12 to the observation direction 40 which is the normal direction. |
