PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recessed luminaire, capable of keeping balance of the whole of the apparatus, reducing the number of parts and improving mounting workability of the apparatus, which will not turn in the vertical direction due to vibration of ceiling material and the like even after the apparatus is executed. SOLUTION: This luminaire is embedded and mounted into an embedding hole provided on a ceiling surface, has an outer collar part 54 abutted on the ceiling surface at a peripheral edge of a translucent opening and is provided with an apparatus main body 52 with an internal surface formed on a reflection surface, a discharge lamp equipped at the inside of the apparatus main body 52 and a lighting device 51, which is equipped at the outside of the apparatus main body 52 and performs power supply to the discharge lamp. The lighting device 51 is provided so as to be movable between a mounting operation position (in the vicinity of A) with a center of gravity on the upper side for embedding the apparatus main body 52 into the embedding hole and an installation position (in the vicinity of B) with a center of gravity on the lower side for mounting the apparatus main body 52 in the embedding hole and maintains and fixes the mounting state. |
