PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a large transparent ice having a high transparency. SOLUTION: An ice making tray 21 is made of a heat insulation material. A separation plate 31 for separating the ice making tray 21 into an upper cell A and a lower cell B is provided and the bottom face of the separation plate 31 is partially opened and an air permeable membrane 33 allowing air to permeate is provided in an opened part. Further, a heater 32 is provided on the bottom face of the ice making tray 21. By this constitution, freezing at a separation plate 31 side in the upper cell A is delayed, and the upper cell can be provided with a large region so that a large transparent ice having a high transparency can be produced. |
