PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the picture data processing and to present both of characters and pictures efficiently and easily to see to user by displaying the characters and the pictures on separate screens. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with a picture display device 18 for displaying pictures, a character display device 16, for displaying characters, a picture display controller 14, for controlling the picture display of the device 18, a character display controller 12 for controlling the character display by the device 16, and a display management device 20 for displaying the picture to be displayed on the device 18 under the control of the controller 14 and displaying characters to be displayed on the device 16 by the controller 12.
