PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the malfunction of a thyristor used as a switching element of a starting circuit for starting a lamp. SOLUTION: The negative electrode side terminal of a capacitor 45 is connected to a wiring member 24 and thereafter connected to an HIC 100 through a terminal 12c. The cathode terminal of a thyristor 76 is connected to the wiring member 24 and thereafter connected to the HIC 100 through a terminal 12m different from the terminal 12c. Thus, the terminals 12c, 12m are electrically connected on the HIC 100. By separately forming the terminal 12c to which the negative electrode side terminal of the capacitor 45 is connected and the terminal 12m to which the cathode terminal of the thyristor 76 is connected like this, the cathode terminal of the thyristor 76 is prevented from being set at a lower potential than that of its gate terminal by the potential difference produced at the connection part of the terminal 12c to the negative electrode side terminal of the capacitor 45, so that the malfunction of the thyristor 76 can be prevented. |
