PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delay the occurrence of a corrosion to a core material of a heat exchange tube, to prevent pitting and to prolong life by brazing a liquid receiver made of Al to a pair of header pipes made of Al having a plurality of heat exchange tubes installed thereon to form an Zn-diffused layer on an outer surface. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 1 mainly comprises a pair of header pipes 2a of an extrusion material made of Al, a plurality of heat exchange tubes 3 made of Al installed between the pipes, and heat exchange fins integrally connected between the tubes 3. A body 11 of a liquid receiver 10 is formed in a cylindrical state of an extrusion material made of Al, and integrally brazed with the pipes 2 through a brazing material (a mixture of a Zn powder and a fluorine flux powder) to a connected part 17. Then, a brazing composition is diffused in the surface of the part 17 to form an Zn-diffused layer 18 on its surface. The layer 18 acts as a sacrificial electrode, is gradually sacrificially corroded and then the core material is corroded.
