PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the reduction of heat dissipation loss and the miniaturization of a heat storage tank. SOLUTION: A hot-water supplier is provided with a heat pump 11 constituted of a compressor 12, a condenser 13, a pressure reducer 14 and an evaporator 15; a heat storage tank 16 heated by the heat of the condenser 13 to raise the temperature of the same; and a heat exchanger 25 heated by a burner 24. The compressor 12 is constituted so as to be variable in the number of revolution of the same whereby a temperature in the heat storage tank 16 becomes the intermediate temperature of heat-up temperature of 50-55 deg.C of the heat pump 11, thereby reducing heat dissipation loss. On the other hand, hot-water can be supplied through combustion when the discharge of high-temperature hot-water is necessitated whereby the size of the heat storage tank 16 can be miniaturized to the necessary minimum. Further, the number of revolution of the compressor 12 is designed so as to be variable whereby heating capacity in accordance with the remaining hot-water in the heat storage tank 16 can be coped, and the compressor 12 can be operated with a low speed when the amount of re-heating by the heat pump 11 can be small enough thereby permitting the highly efficient operation of the compressor. |
