The topical deodorant composition comprises talc (1), rice starch (2), glycerine (3), zinc oxide (6), sodium borate (4), salicylic acid (5) and menthol (7) incorporated in an O/W cream (20). The resulting mixture, of specific proportions, is produced at 35 degrees C in a stirred vessel. The stirring is continued until complete homogenization is attained, and perfume (30) is finally added consisting of lavender and vanillin essence.
