PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a reduction gear, capable of disuse of both of a screw for fixing the input shaft of a position detector onto he boss part of a gear and a tool insertion operating in a reduction gear case. SOLUTION: The reduction gear mechanism 9 of a reduction gear 2 for decelerating rotational output of a motor main body 1 is accommodated in a reduction gear case 10. The axial center of a gear 8f at the terminal of the reduction gear mechanism 9 is coupled coaxially with an output shaft 13 and the input axis 17 of a position detector 16. An elastic metallic collar 24, having a non-circular cross section, is fitted onto the outer circumference of a part 17a, whose cross section is noncircular-shaped at the front end of the input axis 17, and the metallic collar 24 is coupled with the input shaft 17 by means of a pin 26 which is orthogonal to the input shaft and penetrates it. A part 17a, whose cross section is noncircular, of the input shaft 17 fitted in the metallic collar 24 is fitted in a shaft insertion opening 15 having noncircular cross section of the boss part 14 of the gear 8f. Both the ends of the pin 26 are fitted in a pin insertion groove 27 on the boss part 14. |
