PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to support the singing of a user by outputting a guiding vocal sound generated by a singing voice synthesis, and to eliminate the sense of incongruity peculiar to the guiding vocal sound generated by the singing voice synthesis for the user. SOLUTION: A character generation device 10 generates an animation character doing an uttering action moving the mouth according to the guiding vocal sound on the basis of singing voice information for synthesizing singing voice. In such a manner, the sense of incongruity peculiar to the guiding vocal sound generated by singing voice synthesis can be effectively eliminated. Moreover, it is not necessary to previously create character control information for generating a character performing an uttering action and record it on an optical disk or in a server. In addition, an optical disk capacity is not redundantly used to record the character control information, and an excess of a communication cost for transmitting the character control information is saved. Further, it is possible to make use of an old disk on which the character control information is not recorded. |
