PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a desired EPG(electronic program guide) screen, and to display a prescribed EPG screen by a simple button operation when a procedure for searching for a program a user wants to see is extremely complicated according to the increase of the number of programs at the time of selecting a program by an EPG. SOLUTION: A menu screen 6 is displayed by an input part 50. Then, a cursor operation button 3 and a decision button 5 are operated plural times with a menu image 6 as a start point so that a prescribed EPG screen can be displayed. A control part 51 allows an operation procedure generating part 52 to store a button operation, and when a function button 11 is pressed, the operation procedure reaching to the prescribed EPG screen is extracted from the operation procedure registering part 52, and the operation procedure is transmitted by a light emitting part 54. Then, the EPG screen based on the operation procedure is displayed by a television receiver 30.
