PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to perform suitable processing while grasping the number of pieces of non-transferred data all the time by displaying the number of pieces of data non-transferred to a centralized center on the display window of an OCR client. SOLUTION: An exchange business menu screen 3 is displayed on the side of the OCR client and when the operator starts reading, an OCR reading start screen 4 is displayed (S1). Next, when a read button 6 of the screen 4 is clicked, an OCR reads a transfer request statement, characters are recognized from the image data, encoded data are provided and the screen 3 is recovered. At such a time, the number of non-processed documents is displayed on an icon 5 of the screen 3, the operator selects batch OCR data transfer in the screen 3 and image data and encoded data are transferred to the centralized center (S3). In the centralized center, a correction and verification screen 8 is displayed and when there is any error in the encoded data, the data are corrected, verified and transferred to a host computer later (S4). |
