PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the soiling of the edge part of paper where an image is formed by providing an optical path regulating member regulating that discharging light from a discharging lamp irradiates both ends of a photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: The discharging lamp 61 is arranged and fixed on the downstream side of the photoreceptor drum 35 in a paper carrying direction, and constituted of plural LEDs(light emitting diodes) arrayed on a base plate 62. The optical path regulating member 63 regulating the optical path of the individual LED so as to regulate that the discharging light irradiates both ends of the drum 35 is provided corresponding to each LED on the base plate 62. By such constitution, potential at both end parts of the drum 35 is not lowered and the suspended toner is prevented from being stuck. In the case of measuring both end parts of the drum 35 regulated concerning the irradiation of the discharging light along the surface of a transfer roller 34, it is desirable that the regulated part includes even a part more inside by a prescribed distance (a) than the end of the roller 34. |
