PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which successively and accurately detects developer quantity in a developer container, at a low cost, and an image forming device provided with the developing device. SOLUTION: In this developing device, provided with a pixel count part detecting the toner quantity in a toner container 4 as occasion demands, based on the information quantity of the image information and with magnetic sensors 11 and 12 detecting at least one of the toner level in the toner container 4, toner quantity detected by the pixel counting part is corrected, so that the toner quantity detected by the pixel counter becomes the level when the toner quantity detected by the magnetic sensors 11 and 12 becomes the level respectively. |
