PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating spectral distribution due to difference of mixing amounts or mixing rate of color materials prepared by mixing plural basic color materials. SOLUTION: At the time of estimating spectral distribution due to difference of mixing amounts or mixing rate of color materials prepared by mixing plural basic color materials, the spectral distribution of the basic color materials is multiplied by the spectral distribution and mixing amounts or mixing rate of the different color materials to be used for the mixing as a weight factor, and converted into the spectral distribution of the color materials changing according to a mixing condition by a neural network in this color estimating method.
