PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the power consumption of an information processor without breaking necessary data transfer. SOLUTION: The power supply to a physical layer 101-d is cut off according to the outputs of detection parts 33 to 35 which detect whether or not other processors are connected to connectors 102-d, 103-d, and 104-d of the information processor through an IEEE1394 cable and a power-down setting part which detects whether or not the information process or is in the power-down state. |
