PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration and noise produced during rotation by correcting imbalance of a rotating body, especially that due to an unbalanced eccentric portion. SOLUTION: A rotating body 20 has an eccentric portion 12 at part in the axial direction. In order to reduce imbalances due to the eccentric portion, a cut hole as an imbalance correcting portion 31 is formed in proximity to the eccentric portion. The imbalance correcting portion is also used as the reference for positioning a member to be installed on a shaft (e.g. a laminated core member comprising a coil winding portion) on the rotary shaft 7 in the rotating body 20.
