PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-diagnostic device of gas meter capable of detecting an abnormal state generated within a gas meter. SOLUTION: This device is formed of a flow rate measuring means 21 arranged within a gas passage to measure the gas flow rate, a pressure measuring means 22 arranged in the meter outlet part 20 of a gas meter to measure the gas pressure at the meter outlet, a control means 23 for starting the pressure measuring means 22, a pressure value memory means 24 for storing the pressure value measured by the pressure measuring means, a bias determination means 23-1 started by the control means to determine whether the difference (bias) between the maximum value and minimum value of the measured pressure values stored in the pressure value memory means 24 is higher than a preset regulated value or not, and an alarm means 25 for performing an alarm processing when the bias is determined higher than the regulated value by the bias determination means 23-1.
