PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten working time and improve working conditions by providing a bypass tube injecting a given amount of refrigerant, evacuating a refrigerating cycle and thereafter closing the bypass tube. SOLUTION: Elements consisting such as of a compressor 1, a heat exchanger 2, a throttling device 3, a four-way valve 8 and the like, are annularly connected by connecting tubes 10a-10d. A bypass tube 10e is provided for connecting the connecting tubes 10b, 10d and bypassing throttling devices 3. In this refrigerating cycle, an evacuating process is conducted by directly attaching connecting units to a two-way valve 6 and a three-way valve 7 respectively followed by evacuation by a vacuum pump. The flow that has been blocked by the throttling devices 3 flows through the bypass tube 10e without being stopped by which the evacuation can be completed in a short time. likewise, a refrigerant injecting step can be conducted in a short time. Thereafter, the bypass tube is blocked by clamp, welding or the like, thereby completing the manufacturing processes.
