PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust or water drop from infiltrating from the outer periphery of a display switch button into a gap between the display switch button and a display screen. SOLUTION: This switching device comprises a clear key 4, that is deposited on a display screen 2a of an image display means 2, causes the surface side image information displayed on the display screen 2a to be transmitted and displayed, and operates a switch. The clear key 4 comprises a display switch button 13, capable of transmitting and displaying the image formation on the surface side, a button mounting frame body 16 having a switch depressing portion for turning on or off the switch and a button mounting portion mounted with the display switch button 13, and a waterproof dust cover 19 made of rubber material that is integrated to cover the button mounting frame body 16 and includes a support portion 17 which is tightly adhered onto the display screen 2a and a expandable skirt portion 18. A plurality of resin flow-in hole portions are formed in the button mounting frame body 16, and the rubber material for constructing the waterproof dust cover 19 is made to wrap into the resin wrapping hole portions.
