PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite photographing camera for providing a blank part by editing a displayed picture and cutting one part of the picture, and for compositing another picture with the blank part of the picture. SOLUTION: This composite photographing camera is provided with a photographic mode selecting means for selecting a first photographic mode or a second photographic mode, an image pickup means for obtaining an image indicating a subject by image picking-up the subject, that is, an image pickup means for obtaining an image pattern A40 in the first photographic mode, and for obtaining an image pattern B44 in the second photographic mode, and a composity means for obtaining an image C48 by compositing the image pattern A40 with the image pattern B44. Thus, it is possible to easily prepare a new image by cutting and attaching plural photographs photographed by the electronic camera.
