PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the wiring efficiency of a wire insertion detection jig used for mounting wires to a connector. SOLUTION: While a plunger 61 is separated from a rod 62 by a spring 63, the rod 62 is abutted on a contact 75 by a spring 74, and thereby, the rod 62 is connected to a common conductor of a board through a barrel 55 in this probe 41 in a natural condition, when an end of a wire abuts on an end of the plunger 61 of the probe 41 and is pressed to the rod 62 side, the rod 62 is separated from the contact 75, and the rod 62 is electrically disconnected from the common conductor of the board. The potentials of all the barrels 55 and the contacts 75 of the plural probes 41 can be kept only by wiring for the single common conductor.
