PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material high in sensitivity and capable of forming an image small in fogging and improved in storage stability before forming image. SOLUTION: The heat-developable photosensitive material contains photosensitive silver halide grains, a nonphotosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions, and a binder on a support, and this heat-developable photosensitive material contains a compound represented by general formula (I) and the silver halide grains contain a hexacyano-metal-complex represented by the following general formula (II) [M(CN)6]n- on the outermost surface of the grains, and in formulae I and II, each of R11-R14 is H or a halogen atom or hydroxy or an alkyl or alkenyl or alkynyl group or the like; M is Fe, Ru, Os, Co, Rh, Ir, Cr, or Re; and (n) is 3 or 4.
