PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and simple device which stabilizes the instructions for a far-field monitor by minimizing the effects of secondary reflected waves from airplanes, etc., and error detection and is suitable for both-side ILS(instrument landing system) approach. SOLUTION: In this monitor device, a plurality of antenna elements 13b-16b are symmetrically arranged in the direction intersecting an extension of the center of a runway 36 at right angels at locations opposite to the array antenna 21a of an ILS localizer 60 on the operation side sandwiching the runway 36, and a part of reception signals is picked by couplers 17b-20b each provided for the antenna elements 13b-16b, synthetically summed by a synthesizer 28b, switched by a switching device 30b, and subjected to far-field monitoring.
