PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make evadable the unexpected change of the angle of a supporting leg and the enlarging of the size of a leg height adjusting device by constituting a fixing mechanism to fix the supporting leg at an arbitrary angle of a gear mechanism capable of meshing in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: This device possesses the gear mechanism 5 as a mechanism to fix the supporting leg 4 supported so as to be freely rockable around a horizontal axis center X by a case 3 at an arbitrary angle within the range of set angle. The gear mechanism 5 is constituted of a turning side gear part 12 provided with a radial tooth part on a recessed part surface recessed and formed into a conical shape and the operation side gear part 13 of the conical shape attached to a supporting shaft 11 so that it is changed to a position at which it approaches in a horizontal direction and is meshed and to the position at which meshing is released. The turning side gear part 12 is freely rotatably penetrated into the supporting shaft 11 in the horizontal direction to support the supporting leg 4 so as to be freely rockable, and the supporting leg 4 and a connection plate part integrally successively provided at the turning side gear part 12 are connected by a machine screw, so that the turning side gear part 12 is integrally turned with the supporting leg 4 in accordance with the rocking of the supporting leg 4.
