PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera constituted so that a camera body can be surely supported, the various kinds of set can be easily executed and the perability can be enhanced. SOLUTION: This camera 1 is constituted so that the bottom surface part of the camera body 2 is supported by the hand of a photographer. Then, the prescribed position of the side surface of the camera body 2 is provided with a handle part 5 made to project toward in a direction orthogonally crossed to the optical axis of a photographing optical system 3a and an operation means by which information for executing a prescribed action can be inputted, and the operation means is arranged near the handle part 5.
