PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air-cooling heat sink, which exhibits high radiating efficiency and which can be easily manufactured, by forming a deformed cross-sectional body consisting of a plate-shaped heat conducting section for absorbing heat and a sheet- shaped radiating section, for radiating the absorbed heat into the outside atmosphere integrally with each other, and laminating a plurality of deformed cross-sectional bodies in the direction of their width. SOLUTION: An air-cooling heat sink 1 has an irregulars shaped cross-sectional body 5, including a heat conducting section 3 for absorbing heat in contact with an object 2 for cooling, and a radiating section 4 for emitting the absorbed heat into the outside atmosphere. The body 5 is rectangular, and a plurality of the bodies 5 are laminated in the widthwise direction. A pin 7 is inserted into through-holes 6, and the bodies 5 are fixed integrally with one another by caulking both ends of the pin 7. A heat absorbing surface 8 is provided on the bottom surfaces of the sections 3 of the bodies 5. As a result of this constitution, the number of parts can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost and labor can be reduced. In addition, ease of assembling can also be provided. Furthermore, heat conduction from the thick sections 3 to the thin sections 4 is achieved smoothly, and the heat is radiated into the outside atmosphere from the sections 4 disposed at appropriate intervals. |
