PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hot water supply from stopping before the water level reaches a bathtub adapter by detecting the total quantity of hot water being supplied from hot water injection piping and stopping hot water supply if a water level detecting means can not detect increase of water level even after a predetermined quantity of hot water is supplied to the bathtub. SOLUTION: A flow sensor 14 begins to detect the quantity Q0 of hot water supplied to a bathtub simultaneously with start of hot water supply. Detected quantity Q0 of hot water supply is delivered continuously to a controller 15 and the deciding section 15a thereof makes a decision continuously whether increase of water level in the bathtub is detected by a pressure sensor 7 or not. If it is not detected immediately after start of hot water supply, for example, the flow sensor 14 detects a predetermined quantity Q0 and a two-way valve 13 is opened after an on/off valve 3 is closed. Subsequently, operation of a pump 4 is started and hot water flow in circulation piping is detected by means of a flow switch 6. If the flow switch 6 can not detects any flow, automatic hot water filling operation is stopped.
