PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To initialize a switching state of a remote control console to a state of that of a main device by transmitting correction data from the main device when the switching states of two consoles are different at the initial sate in the remote console composed of switches or knobs similar to a main electron microscope. SOLUTION: Both devices are in a standby state, and a remote control request switch 2 represented by an REQ switch within a frame of a remote monitor screen 1 is operated to request approval through a communication line from a remote control device to a main device. If various conditions of an electron microscope meet the remote control condition, the main device reads a switching state of a remote control console of a remote control device, compares with a main console, and if they are in the same state, an enabling switch 3 represented by ENA within the frame is lit, and enabling of remote control is displayed. If the switching state of the remote control console is different from the main console, an item of a switch corresponding to display data 4 of a remote monitor screen 1 is switched on and off to give a warning.
