PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effectively eliminable electric charge electrostatically charged at the transmission type screen of a large-sized rear transmission type display device. SOLUTION: An antistatic film is formed on the surface of the transmission type screen 6 of the rear transmission type display device and the screen 6 is supported by a screen frame 11 through rubber packing 23, for example. A conductive leaf spring 12 screwed to a boss 24 formed at the frame 11 is passed through a window 25 so as to press the antistatic film of the surface of the screen 6 in order to be electrically connected. By connecting one end of a lead wire connected to the spring 12 to the chassis of the display device which is not shown in a figure, the electric charge electrostatically charged at the screen is discharged to the chassis. By sticking a conductive sheet 13 to which the lead wire 21 the other end of which is connected to the chassis of the display device is connected to the upper part of the antistatic film of the surface of the screen 6 by using an adhesive seal 14, the electric charge of the screen 6 is discharged to the chassis.
