PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the bottom of performance when plural inputs/outputs of different kinds compete to a disk device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a disk device 16 equipped with a disk drive 24, a demand request part 18 for issuing input/output to the disk device 16 and an input/output schedule mechanism 20. The input/output schedule mechanism 20 forms an input/output group for which the input/output to the disk device 16 is grouped, defines the ratio of time for each input/output group to use a disk, determines quantaτ1-τ3 for which each input/output group can continuously use the disk device on the basis of the defined time ratio and performs a time sharing for using the disk device while switching the assignment timeτ1-τ3 in order between the competing input/output groups when the requests of input/output are received from the plural input/output groups to the disk device.
