PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize transmission of image data by a simple operation without the need for a complicated operation or setting. SOLUTION: A digital camera is provided with a voice entry means 18 that enters a telephone number to the digital camera in voice, and voice input telephone number information is stored in a memory card 26 as a separate file (telephone number file) from an image file. In order to transmit the image file, the memory card 26 on which the image file and the telephone number file are stored is loaded to an image transmitter. The image transmitter reads the telephone number file from the memory card 26 and automatically transmits the image file to a transmission destination denoted by the telephone number. Thus, the operation of image transmission having been complicated in a conventional image transmission system can be simplified in this way.
