PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply generate an address directory without the need for a troublesome work to enter a plurality of destination addresses one by one by each mail title. SOLUTION: When an entry device 5 selects an electronic mail mode, a CPU 1 executes an application program of an electronic mail in a storage medium 3, temporarily stores newly received data to an area of a transmission reception mail in a RAM 4 via a transmission control section 8, compares coincidence between an address pattern of the received data with an address pattern having been stored in an address directory of the RAM 4, stores a mail title of the newly received data to the same area as the address pattern having been stored as a name/group name when they match, and stores the mail title of the received data to other area as a storage name/group name when they do not match. A display device 6 displays the name/group name in the case of retrieving the address directory.
