Thread-forming on cylindrical plastics wall

The equipment and process are used to form a thread on a cylindrical wall of plastics material, in which the band is an integral part of a moulded preform. It can be used for rapid, efficient and uniform manufacture of seals without a threaded bush and bands for proving violation of plastics screw caps. The process can also be used for making closures with stoppers or lid inserts.
