PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate time and labor for previously setting a command requesting data being the source of a password from an IC card in accordance with a command which requires a ciphering processing and also reduce storage capacity for storing a command group. SOLUTION: When an issuing command requires ciphering by random number data, a command requesting random number data from an IC card C is automatically transmitted before the issuing command is transmitted. When random number data is received from the IC card C, password data is generated by using received random number data and a password key stored in a password key file. Generated password data is stored in the issuing command and it is transmitted to the IC card C. |
