PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive offset-preventing liquid stuck to the outer peripheral surface of a 1st fixing member from sticking to a recording medium by setting the feed timing of the recording medium, so that the recording medium passes through the abutting part at times other than when it passes the abutting part of the fixing member with the rotation of the fixing member. SOLUTION: Since a large amount an offset-preventing liquid B is supplied to the outer peripheral surface part of a fixing roller 2 abutting on a web 9 while an image forming device stands compared to that when the roller 2 is rotated, a liquid B is stuck locally in excess. The feed timing of a recording medium P to a nip part N between both rollers 2 and 3 is set, so that the medium P passes through the nip part N at times other than when the locally stuck excessive liquid B passes through the abutting part of the roller 3 on the roller 2, that is, the nip part N between both rollers 2 and 3. Thus, the excessive liquid B will not come into contact with the medium P and is prevented from being stuck to the medium P. |
