PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical insulating composition that is used for a silane cross-linking insulated cable and effectively prevents occurrence of scorch. SOLUTION: Polyolefin of 100 pts.wt. in a silane cross-linking blended composition is added with a material such as 1-20 pts.wt. zeolite for absorbing moisture in the blended composition. When a silane cross-linking insulated cable is formed using an electrical insulating composition, absorption of contained moisture by the zeolite can effectively prevent occurrence of scorching.
