SOLUTION: In a bankbook transaction device having a bankbook transaction part 21 for printing and magnetically reading/writing in a bankbook and a bankbook issuing part 31 for discharging a new bankbook housed in a bankbook cassette 33 to send to the part 21 via a carrying path 35, plural bankbook cassettes 33 are arranged in the carrying direction of the bankbook, these cassettes 33 are attachable and detachable vertically or to be right/left, and the bottom surface 33a of the cassette 33 is formed as the at least upper traveling guide of the path 35.
