PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile communication terminal where the number of wires between an upper case and a lower case is decreased and the components are placed to make the thickness of the upper case thin. SOLUTION: A control section (microcomputer) (not shown), a display section (liquid crystal display device) 14 and an RF communication section (not shown) whose function block are mounted on a hard board are placed on an upper case 11, and a key operation section 18, an I/O connector section 20, a vibrator and a battery whose function blocks are mounted on a key board (flexible board) are placed on a lower case 12. As a result, an antenna 13 is placed on the upper case 11 on which the RF communication section (not shown) is placed, and the lower case 12 contains the key operation section 18, the I/O connector section 20, the vibrator and the battery. Thus, the function blocks are placed and contained on the upper case 11 and lower case 12 closely to each other by each function so as to attain weight reduction, miniaturization and thin profile further more.
