PURPOSE: An inversed image displaying device of an LCD monitor and a method thereof are provided to display a normal image displayed in a normal position as an inversed image if the monitor is upset, thereby easily changing the position of the monitor. CONSTITUTION: The inversed image displaying device for an LCD monitor comprises a position sensing sensor(10), an AD converter(20), a line buffer(30), a frame buffer(40), an LCD(50) and a controller(60). The sensor(10) outputs a normal position signal and an inversed position signal. The converter(20) converts analog RGB input signals into digital video data. The buffer(30) varies the resolution representing the converted video data into the resolution corresponding to a particular video mode. The buffer(40) varies the frequency of the varied video data into the frame frequency of the particular video mode. The controller(60) controls the converter(20) and the buffers(30,40) and transfers the video data of the buffer(40) to the LCD to display a normal image.
