PURPOSE: A gas turbine engine is provided to cut down the expenses and to improve the efficiency of a gas turbine generator. CONSTITUTION: A gas turbine engine is composed of a 1-stage assembly having a 1-stage compressor, a 1-stage turbine and a generator used as a motor, and a 2-stage assembly including a 2-stage compressor, a 2-stage turbine, a shaft, a bearing and a seal. The generator used as a motor generates high-pressure air by operating as a motor at starting. The gas turbine engine provides the reduction method of the cost and the improvement of the efficiency with the easy process of components by efficiently arranging the compressor, the turbine and a heat exchanger.
