The line blocking blast input process involves the pressure-tight fitting of a multi-chamber revolving lock (12) to the unpressurized connection (14). A grip (16) is taken from the first lock chamber (18) of the blocking cock (10) into the cock valve chamber (20). The cock valve plate (22) is pressed against its seat. The cock setting shaft (24) is loosened and tightened. The grip is pulled back with the valve plate. The lock is rotated and a locking blast enters the line (32) through the valve chamber
