The contact carrier includes a short-circuit bridge (10) with two metal plates (321,32b) comprising an elastic contact element (31a,31b) for connecting the contact pins of the ignition socket. One contact element (31a) continuously touches one contact pin and the other contact element the other contact pin, when the contact carrier is inserted into a counter-connector.
