HOMOGENOUS COMPOSITION OF THE BEAD-FOAMING STYRENE POLYMER, METHOD FOR INITIAL FOAMING, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOSITION, FOAMING BEADS, FOAMING MOLDED ARTICLES MADE FROM COMPOSITION

The homogenous composition of the bead-foaming styrene polymer comprises: a) 100 mass parts of styrene polymer with the average molecular mass of 150000-300000 and the content of residual monomer less than 200 ppm; b) 2-9 mass parts of at least one gas producing agent comprising n-pentane; c) more than 0.1 (but no more than 1) mass parts of petroleum wax representing the mixture of c18-c80 alkanes; d) 0.1-1.0 mass parts of nucleation agent selected among Fisher-Tropsh synthetic waxes and polyolefin waxes. The composition proposed allows for improving the stage of the initial foaming of beads due to increasing foaming rate and increasing yield at the stage of the initial foaming.
