PURPOSE: A weft cutting and transfer apparatus for linking fabrics one after another is for uniformly cutting cross lapped webs of both fabrics and continuously transferring the fabrics toward automatic sewing machine. CONSTITUTION: A wet cutting and transfer apparatus for linking fabrics comprises a cutting device driven by multiple rollers, a tensile detecting device consisting of a roller and an auxiliary means to smoothly detect the tensile and another multiple rollers to make the same level of wefts at supplying and cutting them. The apparatus has also a belt protection device to protect a transfer belt and the rollers and a device to interrupt the reduction of width of fabrics by pulling sewed fabrics at the speed equal to the sewing speed. The apparatus may be operated without multiple rollers and the transfer belt to detect tensile strength.
