PURPOSE: A system for controlling a circuit breaker is provided to reduce trouble factors of the circuit breaker and the manufacturing cost of the system by making the system simple. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling a circuit breaker includes a trip coil(TC) and a closing coil(CC) which are operated in connection with a plurality of relays(Ry4, Ry5, Ry6). The circuit breaker is turned on or off by a driving motor which is operated when the trip coil(TC) and the closing coil(CC) are magnetized. A sensing part(30) senses the relay which is operated when the trip coil(TC) is magnetized by at least one of the plurality of relays(Ry1, Ry2, Ry3). Also, the sensing part(30) includes switches(Th1, Th2, Th3), each of which are switched on or off according to the sensing result. The number of switches(Th1, Th2, Th3) are the same as that of the plurality of relays(Ry4, Ry5, Ry6). A breaker causes the power supply to be shut down when at least one or more switches are switched on.
