发明名称 APPARATUS FOR COMPENSATING COLOR DISPERSION USING POLED OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for compensating the color dispersion using a poled optical fiber is provided to improve the transmission speed, and to achieve a mass storage system by an intermediate wavelength inversion method. CONSTITUTION: The method is composed of a pump light source(3), an optical fiber coupler(4), a poled optical fiber(5), and a filter(6). The apparatus is located at the center of the transmission area. An optical signal(1) transmitted via single mode optical fiber(2) is moved with the pump light source to the optical fiber coupler, and generates a phase conjugated wave at the poled optical fiber. The generated phase conjugated wave is transmitted via the single mode optical fiber after intercepting the other light using the filter. The phase restoration property of the phase conjugated wave compensates the color dispersion of the single mode optical fiber. After the phase conjugated being performed, a short wavelength section located at the front portion of the light is disposed at the back portion of the pulse, and a long wavelength section located at the back portion of the light is disposed at the front portion of the pulse. As the phase conjugated wave again progresses along the single mode optical fiber, it is possible to compensate the diffusion phenomena caused by the color dispersion.
