PURPOSE: A memory player for a cassette deck is provided to operate a digital audio player as a cassette tape is played back or recorded by equally producing the digital audio player as the cassette tape and transmitting playback output signal to the cassette deck through a head. CONSTITUTION: Downloaded data are inputted from a PC(5) to a data buffer(11). The data is transmitted to a cassette memory device(20) through connectors(15,21) after amplifying. A data control unit(12) controls the download of the data buffer(11) and displays the downloaded state on a display unit(13). A microcomputer(26) controls to read the file according to the user's request. The file is read by output signals(SEN1,SEN2) of supplying/winding reel sensors. A decoder(23) restores the read file of compressed type. The restored digital signal is converted to an analog signal by a D/A converter(24). The signal is magnetically converted to transmit into a head by a head unit(25) after filtering and amplifying. The microcomputer(26) displays a title of the present output song on the display unit(27).
