PURPOSE: A sensing apparatus for vehicle chassis welding is provided to promptly and accurately detect whether a nut is accurately located in the vehicle chassis, thereby enabling the nut to be welded to the chassis. CONSTITUTION: A sensing apparatus for detecting accurate secure position of a nut, includes an external casing(10) having a nut insertion hole in the lower part, and an insulating substance(18) in the inner periphery of the casing; a conductive connecting part(14) installed within the insulating substance in the upper part of the external casing; conductive slide members(16) installed at the lower part of the connecting part at a regular gap movably up and down within the insulating substance; an electrified substance(22) installed to be electrically connected with the slide member with exposing the bottom to the nut insertion hole, and an elastic member(20) interposed between the electrified substance and the slide member, wherein if a nut to be welded to a chassis is accurately inserted into the nut insertion hole, the electrified substance is upwardly moved by the nut for electrically connecting the slide member and the connecting part.
